A man was killed in what is being investigated as a fatal road rage shooting on the Bruckner Expressway, officials say.

News 12 is told police responded to the scene around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say they found 24-year-old Nelson Caban unresponsive with gunshot wounds to his face and chest.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say another car pulled up beside him, shooting into his vehicle before fleeing the scene.

The southbound lane of the Bruckner Expressway is open today after being closed for several hours due to the incident.
