13h agoPolice say officers were involved in an exchange of gunfire with suspects in an attempted robbery Wednesday night.
The NYPD says a group of five men wearing masks made an attempted robbery of a motorcycle at 49 West 225th St. just before 9:45 p.m.
Police say officers arrived and one of the five suspects pointed a gun at the officers, fired and missed. Officers returned fire and also missed, they say.
The suspects fled from the scene, according to the NYPD. No one was injured.
Anyone with information on the group is asked to contact the police.
