A woman was killed and two others injured after a fire broke out inside of a Parkchester home.
The fire began Tuesday around 1 a.m. on the 12th floor of 22 Metropolitan Oval.
The 45-year-old woman suffered third-degree burns to her legs and arms and later died at the hospital, officials say.
A 45-year-old man and 14-year-old boy also suffered smoke inhalation but are expected to be OK.
Officials say the cause of the fire was due to faulty wiring.
At least 100 firefighters responded to the blaze before extinguishing it.
The identity of the woman killed in the fire has not yet been released.
