A new musical on Broadway is about to start previews. Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Bad Cinderella" has come to Broadway. “Bad” is in the title but there’s hope for a good response when the audiences start coming in. This is Webber’s take loosely based on the classic fairy tale. As the title implies, this Cinderella has a personality all her own
Previews begin Friday night. This means Webber has two shows on Broadway, but not for long. “Phantom of the Opera” closes in April.
World-premiere musical “Hercules” is coming to Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn. Based on the animated Disney film, audiences can expect to go along on Hercules’ quest for identity and love. Alan Menken, another legend of musical theater, composed the music. Previews begin Thursday night and run through March 19.
Also, kids night on Broadway is March 21. Anyone 18 years old or younger can see a participating show for free if accompanied by an adult paying full price.
