Hundreds of enraged Jewish New Yorkers spilled out into Brooklyn streets as part of an emergency protest against the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.
Protesters marched to the home of Sen. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, who is headed to Israel this weekend for wartime funding, which could include aid for Israel.
Many of the protesters told News 12 they do not support any attacks on Gaza and are calling on the Senate majority leader to order a ceasefire.
“We are sending a message to Chuck Schumer to do everything in his power to stop a pending genocide in Gaza,” said activist Simone Zimmerman. “We are saying the grief and pain of Jewish people is not an excuse for more massacres and more bloodshed.”
