More than 100 people came together in Bed-Stuy Monday night to mourn the loss of their beloved friend Ryan Carson, who was stabbed to death that day.

Police say Carson was fatally stabbed Monday morning while waiting at a bus stop with his girlfriend.

Carson's friends hosted a candlelight vigil in his honor in the Herbert Von King Park, which was across the street from his home.

Many remembered his passion to advocate for environmental issues and overdose prevention.
