An Oyster Bay man has been convicted of hiring hit men to kill his former employee.
Federal prosecutors say Allen Yu called in the hit after Chris Gu left Yu’s construction company to start his own. Gu also then took some of Yu’s clients.
Gu was fatally shot outside a party in February 2019.
Yu and one of the hit men were convicted Wednesday. Both face a mandatory life sentence.
Another man has pleaded guilty in Gu’s death and a third is awaiting trial.
