A Pennsylvania man was hospitalized after his SUV struck a median, flipped over and landed in a retention pond in Medford Township this weekend.

The crash happened Saturday at about 7:43 a.m., Medford police said in a statement. The driver, Dylan Repetto, 26, of Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, was heading east on Route 70 in a Jeep SUV. Police say he was "operating his vehicle in a reckless manner."

"Repetto drove over the curbed median between Route 70 and Old Marlton Pike and struck multiple light standards," police said.

The vehicle flipped over and came to rest in a retention pond.

"Repetto was ejected from the vehicle and assisted by good Samaritans who helped him back to the roadside," police said.

He was taken to a local hospital for injuries. The crash remains under investigation by local and county authorities.
