No one hit the jackpot for the Powerball’s $638 million prize in last night’s drawing, but a pair of big-money tickets were sold in the Bronx – worth a cool $50,000 each.

One of those tickets was sold at a gas station on Bartow Avenue in Baychester, and another was sold at a liquor store on East 170th Street.

Employees and the manager at the Baychester gas station only learned about selling the winning ticket after hearing it from News 12. They say that as of right now, no one has claimed that ticket, but they hope to get more people buying tickets from their store as a result.

The Powerball jackpot is now up to an estimated $685 million, and the next drawing will take place on Dec. 27 at 11 p.m.
