Parade to honor Trenton native Olympic gold medalist Athing Mu
A celebration for Olympic champion Athing Mu will be held in her hometown of
Trenton this afternoon.
Mu won a gold
medal in the women's 800-meter and followed that up with a second Olympic gold
medal in the four by 400-meter relay.

Instead of
returning home, the Trenton native went straight to Texas A&M University, where she is a freshman.
The parade assembly begins at 1 p.m. at Trenton
Central High School then makes its way through New Jersey's capital city.
