Parents and their children enjoyed some Halloween fun a few days early at Brook Park Sunday.

The community Halloween party was organized by the South Bronx Mott Haven Mommy’s, a group that meets once a month to share parenting tips, talk and just decompress from the stresses of parenting.

Attendees brought different treats, candy and party favors for children to enjoy. Participants also enjoyed games, balloon decorating, music, piñatas and more.

Parents say the event is a way for them to get to know other parents in the neighborhood better and for children to make new friends.
