Temperatures stay on the warmer and milder side as we head into the weekend. Saturday will easily be the pick of the two days, offering a pleasant mix of clouds and sunshine with highs right around 70 degrees. It stays mostly dry through the day, though a few scattered showers may start to pop up by the second half of Saturday.
Easter Sunday brings a noticeable change. Highs will slip back into the 60s, and a round of rain will move in during the later part of the morning. Expect lighter, on‑and‑off showers to start, followed by a more organized line of moderate to heavier rainfall pushing through between about 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The damp weather lingers into the afternoon as a front sweeps across the region.
That front will open the door to a much cooler stretch for the first half of next week, so enjoy Saturday’s warmth while it’s here.
