WHAT TO KNOW
Showers are expected for most of the day today, with overcast skies and temperatures generally in the 60s.
Monday will be the pick of the week, with dry conditions and temperatures near 70 degrees.
Daily showers and a strong, chilly breeze are expected through the workweek, with temperatures well below average.
A stiff easterly wind will bring a risk of coastal flooding during high tide starting Tuesday, with the threat increasing through Friday.

It's a washout, but flash flooding is not expected. Instead, we'll see steady nuisance rain for most of the day, with about 1 inch expected. Winds will be from the southeast at 10 to 15 mph, and temperatures will be in the 60s, rising to around 70 degrees this evening. A period of heavy rain is possible late this afternoon or early this evening.
Monday: Pick of the week!
The Monday morning commute will be overcast with an isolated shower, but the rest of the day will be dry with peeks of sunshine. Morning temperatures will be just shy of 60 degrees, with afternoon highs near 70 degrees. It will be cooler than average, but Monday will be the mildest day of the week.
The rest of the week: Damp & chilly
A stiff east breeze at 15 to 25 mph will bring cloudy skies and keep temperatures in the low to mid 60s for much of the week. We'll need to bring out the light jackets. Heavy rain is not expected Tuesday or Wednesday, but there is the potential for a brief period of heavy rain Thursday evening and Friday, depending on how close a coastal storm gets to our area.
Coastal flooding is expected in our usual trouble spots during high tide cycles starting Tuesday evening, with the threat becoming more likely Thursday into Friday.
