After a damp start to the day, sky conditions improve this afternoon with an abundant amount of sunshine, warm temperatures in the mid to upper 80s and a pleasant breeze.
There's a chance of light scattered showers overnight over parts of New York City. Otherwise, tonight will be cloudy and mild with lighter winds. It turns cooler and drier on Friday into Saturday with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.
A frontal system approaches the region late Saturday into Sunday, bringing a chance of rain. Sunday is trending wetter, slightly warmer and humid. Minimal impacts are expected at this time with less than an inch of rainfall possible. Stay tuned for updates.
