After a cool and comfortable weekend, Summer warmth arrives this week. Today will be unseasonably warm with highs in the upper-70s. Highs will climb into the 80s away from the coast Tuesday through Friday with low chances of rain.

Record heat is possible on Wednesday with a forecast high temperature of 87 degrees. The record is 87 degrees setback in 1941. A nearby storm system will bring a slight chance of showers and potential storms after sunset on Tuesday and Wednesday. There's a better chance of storms North of the city.
