Sunday starts very humid, with some patchy fog and a few clouds, but the humidity levels will lower throughout the day. With mostly sunny skies, it will easily approach 90 during the afternoon and it will feel like near 100. However, storms are not expected.
There is a moderate risk for rip currents for all Atlantic facing beaches this weekend. Please remain cautious about swimming at the Atlantic Ocean beaches as you try to find some relief from the hot and humid weather and only enter the water where a lifeguard is on duty.
The wind will generally be west to southwest this weekend at 5 to 10 mph. Swells on the Atlantic beaches are around 3 feet. Conditions remain good for boaters on the Atlantic or the Long Island Sound, but exert caution in the afternoon for pop-up storms.
