OVERNIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY
Scattered showers and even a stray downpour will remain possible overnight on Long Island. That said, the weather is improved overall following Tuesday afternoon and evening's scattered severe thunderstorms and flooding. Use some caution traveling overnight, as large puddles can linger along with that chance for a few additional areas of scattered rain.
While much of Wednesday will be decent with clouds and some breaks of sun, a couple of showers and an isolated thunderstorm will be possible before an amazing stretch of weather arrives starting Thursday!
