Some areas throughout the Bronx are still without power over a week after Isaias tore through the region.
Residents in Pelham Gardens say the heat is also making it very hard to sleep at night or to stay inside in general.
They tell News 12 the conditions inside their house have been unbearable and that they have been without power for four to five days.
They say one hour the power will turn on and then the next it will turn off again. They say they only get a short window of relief with air conditioning, only to be left in the dark and in the heat again.
Con Edison tells News 12 that there were 171 customers without power in the Bronx and 307 without power in Brooklyn  as of Wednesday evening.
