The FDNY says a person is recovering at the hospital following a fire at a Concourse Village apartment building.

Firefighters responded to 1011 Sheridan Ave. just after 7 p.m. Monday.

Crews battled flames on the sixth floor for just over 30 minutes.

Fire officials say EMS took the victim to BronxCare Health System. Their condition is currently unknown.

The Red Cross says it is working to connect with impacted residents.
