Playoff football is returning to New York after a six-year long hiatus.
Giants head coach Brian Daboll gave his players the day off on Monday to focus on what lies ahead after the team clinched its first playoff since 2016.
Since their last playoff appearance in 2016, the Giants had lost 73% of their games. After Daboll’s takeover, he led the team to victory and turned Daniel Jones into one of the most reliable quarterbacks in the NFL.
“You're only guaranteed 17 of these things now... It takes a lot of work to get to this point. It takes execution. It’s extremely hard to get one of these spots, so I think that you should appreciate it and then you've got to get back to work,” said Daboll.
