Police say one person is dead and two are injured after a shooting in Williamsburg Thursday afternoon.
News 12 is told the incident could also possibly be related to a home invasion.
Medical examiners were seen removing a body of the person they say is responsible in the shooting incident Thursday night.
Police say the shooting happened at 666 Broadway just after 3 p.m. They say when they arrived at the scene, a man was dead, while a woman and another man were also shot and injured.
Police say the incident sparked from a dispute between the gunman and a man and a woman before shots were fired.
Police say a 29-year-old woman was shot in the arm and a 37-year-old man was shot in the torso.
Police say in 2019, another home invasion took place involving the same 29-year-old woman injured Thursday night.
The two victims were taken to the hospital.
No arrests have been made at this time. The shooting remains under investigation.
