Police: 46-year-old man killed, another injured in Claremont shooting

Police say the shooting happened just before 5:30 a.m. on 170th Street and Teller Avenue.

Police say one man has died and another was injured in a shooting in Claremont.

Police say the shooting happened just before 5:30 a.m. on 170th Street and Teller Avenue.

According to police, a 46-year-old man was shot in both legs and later died at St. Barnabas Hospital. A 23-year-old man was also shot in the neck but is expected to recover.

Police found a trail of blood, a cell phone, and earbuds at the scene. Police have not yet released the name of the man who died, and no arrests have been made.
