5h agoPolice say one person has died following a wrong-way crash on
the Heckscher State Parkway.
The crash happened around 10:30 p.m.
Monday between exits 44 and 45.
Police tell News 12 a Hyundai driven by Roy Nelson was headed
north in the southbound lanes when it collided head-on with a Tesla. Nelson,
73, died.
Police believe he may have suffered a medical emergency.
The
driver of the Tesla was not seriously hurt.
