One man is in custody, and another is hospitalized following a shooting in Milford Wednesday afternoon.

Police say both people involved were still on the scene when they arrived on Edgefield Avenue, near the city's shoreline.

The victim's condition is currently not known.

Police say because they quickly determined the shooting to be an isolated incident, no extra security measures were necessary at Foran High School, which is also in the neighborhood.
