A 14-year-old boy was assaulted and his book bag taken by robbers in Morrisania.
Police say the incident happened early in the morning on Friday inside 1064 Cauldwell Ave. Two people approached him from behind, hit him about the body and took his book bag. The boy had minor injuries but was not hospitalized.
The perpetrators are described as male between the ages of 15-20 years old.
