Police say they are searching for two suspects in connection to the shooting of a 15-year-old boy in the Bronx Tuesday.
Police say the incident happened around 3:30 p.m. when they responded to a call about a 15-year-old who was shot in the back at Oakland Place and Prospect Avenue.
Police sources tell News 12 that after the victim was shot, he made his way around the block towards his home.
Police say two suspects fled northbound on Prospect Avenue in a black and silver scooter. They say a revolver was possibly used in the shooting, and that the incident appears to be gang-related.
News 12 is told the teen was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and is expected to be OK.
