NYPD: 28-year-old man dies in police-involved shooting in Canarsie
2h agoPolice say a 16-year-old boy was shot twice in Wakefield and is recovering in the hospital.
According to the police shots were fired at 9:51 p.m. Tuesday. The boy was shot in the right leg and right armpit.
Officials say he was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi where he is now recovering.
The search for the gunman is on. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
