A 17-year-old girl was stabbed multiple times Tuesday night inside a Belmont apartment building, according to police.

Investigators say the teen suffered a stab wound to the shoulder and back at around 11:40 p.m.

Officials also say the incident is domestic in nature, but the details of who stabbed her and why have yet to be released.
