NYPD: Man wanted for robbing driver at gunpoint in Unionport
yesterdayPolice say an 18-year-old man has died following a shooting on East Gun Hill Road in Norwood.
The victim has been identified as Estarling Peralta.
Peralta was fatally shot on 266 East Gun Hill Road Wednesday just before 6 p.m.
Investigators say Peralta was shot in the head and rushed to SBH Health System in critical condition.
Peralta succumbed to his injuries Thursday morning.
Officers are trying to piece together what led up to the shooting.
News 12 spoke with Paralta’s family as they returned to the scene of the crime early Thursday.
It is not clear if the shooter and victim knew each other.
Police say they don’t have anyone in custody.
