Police say two people were killed in a crash on the Cross Bronx Expressway overnight.

Police say two people were killed in a crash on the Cross Bronx Expressway overnight.
News 12 was told an SUV slammed into a parked semi tow truck on the intersection of the Cross Bronx Expressway and Rosedale Avenue.
The driver of the SUV, a 33-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. The front-seat passenger, a 47-year-old man, died on the scene.
A 15-year-old girl and a 32-year-old who were in the back seats of the SUV were sent to the hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
According to data from the city's Vision Zero Initiative, there have been more than 4,000 car crashes so far this year where someone got injured.
