Police say two men who are wanted for a string of armed robberies across the Bronx, Manhattan and Brooklyn attempted to steal from a Brooklyn liquor store Friday afternoon.
Authorities released video of those suspects at a store along Kings Highway just before 4:30 p.m. Officers say the suspects, armed with guns walked up to a 59-year-old employee. The suspects told the employee to go to the register, and then fought with him until they ran off.
The employee was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for bruising and a head injury.
Police describe the suspects as two black men in their mid- to late-30s.
The suspects are wanted in connection with seven other robberies, including one in the Bronx at the Fordham Family Pharmacy on West Fordham Road last month.
