A 15-year-old and a 16-year-old were shot last night in Longwood. Police say that the 15-year-old victim has died.

The shooting happened right outside of the Police Athletic Center League on Longwood Avenue.

According to police, the teenagers were leaving the athletic center with a group of people when there was another group outside. It's unclear what exactly happened next, but early evidence suggests there may have been some sort of dispute.

The situation escalated and the 16-year-old was shot in the leg. The 15-year-old was shot in the head and was pronounced dead on Friday afternoon.

Police say they are not sure if the teens were the intended target or just bystanders in the incident.

No arrests have been made yet. The shooter is still at large.
