A man was fatally shot early Sunday in East New York, police say.

They say they received a call of a person shot in front of 207 Atkins Ave. just after midnight.

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died.

No arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
