yesterdayPolice arrested 21-year-old Michael Okonkwo in connection to a sexual assault in the Bronx.
Okonkwo was taken into custody for an attack on a 53-year-old woman in the Soundview Park playground on Sept. 19.
He is accused of choking the victim while sexually assaulting her in the park.
Authorities say the victim's 25-year-old cousin was able to help fight off the suspect.
Okonkwo faces several charges, including rape, strangulation and assault.
