Police: 22-year-old Bronx man dies in motorcycle collision in Mott Haven

A 22-year-old man died after the motorcycle he was a passenger of collided with a truck.
Police say that on Friday around 7:03 a.m., Jaydin Arroyo was riding in the rear of a motorcycle driven by a 24-year-old man, going down Bruckner Boulevard. The motorcycle slid onto the roadway and collided with a 2013 Western Star Tanker, which was making a left turn on Southern Boulevard.
Both Arroyo and the 24-year-old operator of the motorcycle were taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln. The 24-year-old is in stable condition but Arroyo succumbed to his injuries.
Police have not made any arrests at this time.
