Police say a man was shot early Tuesday morning in Fordham Heights

According to investigators, the 23-year-old victim was shot in the ankle before 3 a.m. on 182nd Street and Tiebout Avenue.

Police say the victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

No information has been released on the suspected shooter.
