A man has been hospitalized after a brutal attack by two people in Melrose.
News 12 is told the victim was standing near the Grand Concourse and East 150th Street when he was ambushed just before 6 a.m. Saturday.
Police are now searching for two men who they believe approached the 25-year-old victim in front of a restaurant. They say the situation quickly got ugly when an argument turned violent.

Officials say the suspects continued to punch the victim on the head and his body before they ran off. He was taken to the hospital where he was treated for multiple slash wounds on his head and arms.
Police are offering a reward for any information leading to the arrests of the two men.
