Police: 29-year-old man fatally shot at East Flatbush banquet hall
Police say a 29-year-old man was fatally shot overnight outside a banquet hall venue in East Flatbush.
Police received a call around 4:19 a.m. that a man was shot.
When they arrived, they found the victim with a bullet wound to the head inside K and L Manor Party Venue on 4501 Glenwood Road.
He was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center but later died.
News 12 was told the suspect was wearing a red hoodie and baseball cap. He was last scene heading south on East 45th Street.
Sources say Hollywood Butta is a popular party promoter in Brooklyn and had a birthday celebration Friday night at the party venue.
Neighbors told News 12 he’s known for throwing large parties and packing many venues.
Residents say this event space is also used for weddings and baby showers.
Police have not released any information on a suspect and say the investigation is ongoing.
