A man was shot in the torso overnight in Claremont Village, police say.

Authorities say the 29-year-old victim was shot at around 2:30 a.m. on 3rd Avenue. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Law enforcement sources tell News 12 the victim has an arrest record.

The shooter is at large.
