Authorities say $3.5 million worth of cocaine was found stashed in a Morris Park apartment on Monday night.
Three people are now facing drug charges after narcotic agents conducted a raid on the Hone Avenue apartment after watching Jose Velez, who was identified as one of the suspects.
Over 10 kilograms of cocaine, two firearms, and $325,000 in cash were retrieved, according to authorities.
Investigators say Velez was conducting a drug operation by getting the drugs from Puerto Rico.
They also say two underage children were in the apartment when they arrived.
Along with Velez, two other people were arrested. Velez’s charges include operating as a major trafficker.
