Police are searching for three men they say posed as NYPD officers and ransacked a Bronx home.
In order to protect the victim, police won't say exactly where the incident occurred, only that it happened around Bogart and Lydig avenues on June 5.
Video released by police shows the three men as they enter the home. They searched through the apartment, but police say no property was removed and no one was injured.
According to police, one of the suspects was waving around a handgun the entire time, saying they were the police.
All three men are described as 30 to 35 years old, last seen wearing dark-colored clothing, and one man was carrying a yellow duffle bag. They were not wearing police uniforms.
According to the NYPD, the men fled a red van and a black SUV that appears to be a Jeep Wrangler.
