A man has been arrested in connection to the fatal stabbing of a woman in the Bronx.

Police say they found the victim unconscious and stabbed in the head at around 8:30 p.m. Friday. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 31-year-old man is in custody for the murder and charges are currently pending.

There is no word yet on if there is any relationship between the victim and the suspect.
