Police: 34-year-old man fatally shot in the head in Tremont

Police are still searching for the person responsible.

Police say a man was fatally shot in the head in Tremont. The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Carlos Teron.

He was shot Tuesday before 11 p.m. in front of 1988 Clinton Ave. Steps away from P.S. 352 and a day care.

Shortly after police officers' arrival on the scene that's when they found Teron with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to SBH Health System where he was later pronounced dead.

Police are still searching for the person responsible. Anyone with information is asked to give police a call at the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1 (800) 577-TIPS.
