Police: 5 injured in hit-and-run incident in Park Slope; suspect apprehended

The man accused of striking two people and two vehicles with a car is in custody.

Police say five people were injured in a hit and run in Park Slope Tuesday and a man is now in custody.
Authorities say the incident happened at around 10 p.m. near 5th Avenue and Flatbush when a vehicle hit two people and then struck two vehicles.
A total of five people were injured and were taken to hospitals, but those injuries are not life-threatening.
Police say the man they believe is responsible for the incident has been taken into custody.
There is no word of any charges that man may be facing.
