Police say a 51-year-old man was fatally stabbed in his own home.

It happened overnight on the 1400 block of Jesup Avenue.

Police arrived on the scene to find Barry Dowdy with a stab wound to his chest.

They say he had been involved in a fight with someone in front of several people.

He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance video and are searching for any possible suspects.
