Police officials say that a 69-year-old woman was fatally struck by a truck as she was crossing a street around 10 a.m. Friday in Bensonhurst.

According to police, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
They say the driver stayed on the scene following the accident.
So far, no charges have been filed.
