An 85-year-old woman died after suffering a medical emergency while driving, causing her to crash into another car in Copiague Thursday, police say.

An 85-year-old woman died after suffering a medical emergency while driving, causing her to crash into another car in Copiague Thursday, police say.
The victim was driving eastbound on Sunrise Highway when she appeared to suffer a medical emergency and struck another vehicle stopped at a red light on New Highway around 10:55 a.m.
The 85-year-old woman, who was alone in her vehicle, was pronounced dead upon arrival at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip.
The occupants of the other vehicle, a woman and her infant, were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center for treatment
