Police have arrested a man who they say sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl at knifepoint last week.
Authorities say Garry Pinkney, 17, is facing multiple charges including attempted rape, criminal sex act, robbery and burglary.
As News 12 previously reported, the 13-year-old girl was followed by the suspect into her building near Jennings Street around 1 p.m. Thursday.
Police say once inside the apartment, Pinkney pulled out a knife and made her perform oral sex. The man also tried to rape the girl before running away with her backpack, police say.
