Police: Baby sitter stabs mother in front of children over pay at Edenwald Houses
A baby sitter stabbed the mother of the children she was watching after an argument over money Monday afternoon, police say.
The mother of two was stabbed multiple times in the torso at the Edenwald Houses and taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. She is expected to be OK.
The baby sitter, 27-year-old Miriahm Paloma, of Brooklyn, faces several charges, including criminal possession of a weapon, assault, endangerment of a child and menacing.
Police say there were two small children inside the apartment at the time of the incident. They were not injured.
