A man is in critical condition after he was shot in the head in Bedford Park late Friday night, police say.

They say the shooting happened inside of 380 E. 201st St. at 11:15 p.m. at what's likely an abandoned house.

Police say the victim is in his 20s and was found with a gunshot wound to the head and one to the body. He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where authorities say he is in very critical condition.

A neighbor told News 12 he heard the sound of three gun shots.

Police are searching for the shooter and are investigating a motive.
