Police: Bronx man arrested for allegedly stealing car in New Rochelle

Jvon Adams was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

A Bronx man was arrested and charged with multiple offenses after allegedly stealing a car in New Rochelle, police said.
On Wednesday around 1 p.m., New Rochelle police received reports of a stolen vehicle parked at the CVS Pharmacy at 222 North Ave. After arriving at the scene, officers discovered the car empty and set up surveillance on it.
A short time later, they witnessed a suspect return and enter the vehicle. The suspect was identified as Jvon Adams, 31, of the Bronx. When officers arrested Adams, they found a "comb knife" on him.
Adams was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
