Police: Bronx man arrested in Thornwood for loaded gun in car

According to authorities, the man had an expired Tennessee license plate from 2010 and was pulled over by police.

Police say that a 42-year-old man was arrested in the Bronx after he was pulled over for an expired license and a gun was found in his car.

The incident happened on Saw Mill Parkway near Marble Avenue around 3 a.m.

According to authorities, the man had an expired Tennessee license plate from 2010 and was pulled over by police. In his car, they found a 9mm handgun. The man also reeked of alcohol and weed as well as failed a sobriety test.

The man is now facing multiple charges including criminal possession of a weapon and driving while intoxicated.
