Police: Bronx man killed in double stabbing, suspect in custody

The NYPD says a 38-year-old man was fatally stabbed inside of his Mott Haven apartment Halloween night.

The NYPD says a 38-year-old man was fatally stabbed inside of his Mott Haven apartment Halloween night.
According to the authorities, they found the 38-year-old man with a stab wound to the chest inside 423 East 136th St. He was pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital.
A 53-year-old man is in custody and was also taken to a hospital and treated for lacerations to his arms.
The relationship between those two men has not been confirmed, but police say they both lived in the apartment.
Sources tell News 12 a dispute between the two men is what escalated into things getting physical and that it started inside the apartment then into the hallway.
At this time, no charges have been placed on the 53-year-old man who was arrested.
