Police: Brooklyn man charged with making terroristic threat during live Fox News interview
Police say a Brooklyn man is facing multiple charges for allegedly making a terroristic threat during a live Fox News interview.
The NYPD says 34-year-old Israel A. Burns was taken into custody Saturday afternoon after he "threatened to burn down Manhattan's Diamond District."
He is charged with making a terroristic threat, falsely reporting an incident and aggravated harassment.

The New York Daily News reports that Burns made the threat against the Diamond District "if the mayor and governor didn’t come to speak to a crowd gathered at Barclays Center." The Daily News described Burns as a Black Lives Matter protester.
